So many network marketers are frustrated because they are using old-school tactics that are getting them nowhere. A sad but true statistic is that 97% of internet marketers fail because they were never taught the correct way to produce leads and ultimately increase sales. The terrible tactics such as the 3 foot rule, hanging flyers, bugging your family and friends, and holding hotel meetings should be a thing of the past when building a success online business.
I'm sure you have heard it before like I did. You're all excited to join a network marketing company only to be told by your upline that you should use the same techniques as discussed above. Wait a minute? You want me to make a list of 100 people that I know and call them to see if they would be interested in making some extra money? Are you nuts? I don't think so!
Much to my chagrin, I in fact did make those calls only to be hung up on or faced unanswerable objections. Furthermore, once I told my upline about my troubles, they told me to purchase "opportunity leads", which also lead to more disappointment and a very empty wallet.
Does this sound like your journey thus far in network marketing? Well, it doesn't have to be. You must change your approach in how you're going to generate more leads while making money in the process. It's called attraction marketing with a funded proposal. This simply means that you are providing value to other internet marketers on helping them grow their business while offering products that you can sell on the front end.
Establishing yourself as a leader with valuable information to offer will gain credibility and trust with your prospects, which will lead to enrolling more distributors to your business. Remember, provide value on the front end and sell on the back end. Simple, yet effective.
